This collection was born from a summer of healing, memory, and rediscovery. In 2024, my mom, sister, and I spent time with my grandfather, taking him to Chicago landmarks he hadn’t visited in years. It was our second summer without my grandmother—a quiet absence that shaped every outing. These moments, filled with laughter, reflection, and resilience, helped him find strength again. Through these images, I’ve captured not just the city we explored, but the love, loss, and courage that guided us along the way.
